DART MUSIC FESTIVAL @ Bar 1620!

The annual three day Dart Music Festival is now in its 25th year and with over 100 performances spanning almost every musical genre, the festival offers an eclectic mix of orchestral, rock, choral, blues, opera, folk, and jazz performances at over 20 indoor and outdoor venues  including HERE at Bar 1620 Dartmouth.

Ross Kelly - Acoustic Soul Singer
Acoustic foot-tapping sing-a-long Soul Music from an experienced front man of the biggest Funk band in the South West, Freshly Squeezed.Playing Soul covers from the likes of Marvin Gaye, Ben E King, Otis Redding, Al Green, Paul Weller, Van Morrison and more...
​Ross brings us his brilliant vocals and acoustic soul set - he always gets us singing along to some brilliant classics.

Thomas Ford & Becca Langsford - Blues
Born in a field 30-something years ago, Thomas Ford is a blues shouter, a guitar picker and a harmonica fire-breather. Mixing delta blues traditions with nu-blues songwriting, this one man trio has been hailed as “The rising star of British blues”. Thomas will be performing with Becca Langsford, vocalist and percussionist of international renown, often seen touring with Jethro Tull’s Martin Barre or performing in her own exciting projects. 
​We look forward to them bringing us the blues on Festival Sunday. It’s all going off at Bar 1620!

Closing Party with Kelly Young - Jazz, Soul & Pop Vocalist​
We welcome back the amazing vocalist Kelly Young to close our brilliant weekend of Live Music at Bar 1620. 
Kelly is a unique performer with a larger than life personality and sense of humour! She learned to hone her craft through musicals and cabaret, before working extensively as a vocalist in the UK and abroad.
Kelly has an extensive repertoire and is well versed in several styles - pop, rock, soul, musical theatre, & jazz. She loves to make an audience feel GREAT about themselves, and when you see her having a good time - you will too! She will entertain us and keep us singing long into the night.
